What you need to do
Most stages run automatically. You only need to act at two points:- Review checkpoints — review the generated specifications and approve, request changes, or add notes
- Deployment — click Deploy when you are ready to go live
How long does it take?
Total Plan Cast time varies based on your product’s complexity:| Product complexity | Typical total time |
|---|---|
| Simple (5-10 features) | 4-8 hours |
| Medium (10-20 features) | 8-16 hours |
| Complex (20+ features) | 16-24 hours |
These times include the automated building stages only. Time spent at review checkpoints (where you review and approve) is not counted — take as long as you need.
Pausing and resuming
The building process can be paused and resumed at any time:- Automatic pauses — the process pauses at review checkpoints, waiting for your input
- Error pauses — if something goes wrong, the process pauses and notifies you
- Manual resume — if a Plan Cast was interrupted (network issue, service outage), it automatically picks up from the last checkpoint
