What you need to do

Most stages run automatically. You only need to act at two points:
  1. Review checkpoints — review the generated specifications and approve, request changes, or add notes
  2. Deployment — click Deploy when you are ready to go live
Everything else happens in the background. You can close your browser and come back later.

How long does it take?

Total Plan Cast time varies based on your product’s complexity:
Product complexityTypical total time
Simple (5-10 features)4-8 hours
Medium (10-20 features)8-16 hours
Complex (20+ features)16-24 hours
These times include the automated building stages only. Time spent at review checkpoints (where you review and approve) is not counted — take as long as you need.

Pausing and resuming

The building process can be paused and resumed at any time:
  • Automatic pauses — the process pauses at review checkpoints, waiting for your input
  • Error pauses — if something goes wrong, the process pauses and notifies you
  • Manual resume — if a Plan Cast was interrupted (network issue, service outage), it automatically picks up from the last checkpoint
You are never charged for time spent waiting at review checkpoints or during pauses.
